I just received my August LWF box and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you all! It's been a rough couple weeks for me due to some personal matters, which explains my absence here on BV. I want to apologize in advance for this said absence and I hope to be posting more regularly from here on out. In other news, if you checked out my July 2015 Love With Food Box, you'll probably note that I was incredibly underwhelmed with the box, particularly the snack sizes and selection. So when I watched the sneak peek video for August, I was crossing my fingers extra hard for a much better box since the July box left me with a bad taste. With the August theme being "Road Trip," I was pleasantly surprised to see some new brands and snacks in the upcoming box. Now stay tuned to see if the snacks were good enough to keep me around!

✧Thoughts: OH MY GOODNESS! I'm just going to come right out and say it, but this month's box may just be my FAVORITE BOX EVER!!! Now that's definitely saying a lot since I've been a loyal LWF subscriber for over 3 years now! Seriously, I'm pretty mind-blown and can only wish that EVERY one of their boxes are as amazing as this one, especially since it's going to be extremely hard to top this box already! I'm looking forward to trying out every item in this month's box. Although we're already familiar with 479 Popcorn, KIND, Stash and GoOrganics, I'm definitely not complaining because I love cheesy popcorns, tea mixes, hard candies and granola bars! I've been wanting to try the salted caramel KIND Popped bars ever since I saw them on the shelves at Target, but could never bring myself to buy an entire box without trying one first, so it's pretty great that I get to try one out first! OMG. Go Organics makes some of the tastiest hard candies ever! I always buy them by the bags whenever I stop by Earth Fare or Whole Foods and I usually always have some in my handbag. Rather than giving us 1-2 pieces of the apple flavor this month, LWF generously provided us with an ENTIRE BAG! YES, that definitely happened and made me squeal like my little 5-year-old niece! So stinkin' happy and delicious! The apple flavor may just be my new favorite, other than blood orange of course. Last month, some tasting box subscribers received the Naan Crisps and others didn't. I was part of the group that did not receive them and was really disappointed since they looked fantastic! Luckily, that disappointment faded immediately when I noticed I had received one this month-I can't wait to dig in! I've been a huge fan of Wild Friends nut butters ever since discovering them on Shark Tank and at my local Sprouts and although I've yet to try the sesame cranberry peanut butter flavor, I already know it's going to be amazing, just like every other nut butter they've concocted up! As for the last two products that I've yet to talk about-the Fruity Pie and Enlightened broad bean snacks, those two look scrumptious as well! The Fruity Pie is essentially a wheel-shaped snack of juicy apricots and almonds, one of my favorite KIND bar combinations, so I already know it's going to be super delish! While I would've never thought of baking broad beans and tossing them in seasoning and eating them like a snack, there's no doubt I won't enjoy it, especially since I'm a huge fan of anything wasabi flavored! Overall, I'm crazy impressed with this month's box and I'm already looking forward to ordering a second August tasting/deluxe box for myself with the points that I've racked up thus far! LWF definitely stepped up their game this month to bring their subscribers an incredible selection of both sweet and savory snacks. One can only hope that they'll continue this trend for the rest of 2015 and into 2016, which reminds me....it's going to be 2016 in just 4 short months-OH MY! Here's to another amazing box in September! Until then, I'll be praying for the weather gods to chill out with this heat and humidity since I want to see some chocolate in our boxes soon!
