July 2012 Love With Food Box

Hi readers,

I don't know about you guys, but I live for my weekends. Summer classes have been taking a toll on my social life, but just one week left of classes and I'm done! Two months really flew by. Look forward to LOTS of exciting posts in the upcoming week, I promise it'll be worth the wait.

Anyways, I received my July Love With Food box today and just really quickly wanted to share it with you all. This is my fourth month so far-and I absolutely LOVE this company! I always get to try something I would've never thought of trying before and it's worth it. Not only do you get a box filled with delicious and yummy snacks every month, but you donate a meal to those in need. It's good karma, simply put. The boxes this month were shipped out a little later than usual because one of the products in the boxes was delayed due to the severe weather in Virginia, but I was perfectly okay with it and understand that things do happen. Here are my previous boxes: April LWF BoxMay LWF Box, and June Love With Food Box

What is Love With Food?
It's a monthly subscription service similar to Birchbox and MyGlam where you receive 5+ gourmet food samples (AKA "Best Bites"), instead of beauty products. Each month has a special theme (April: Easter, May: Mother's Day, June: Baseball, etc....) where the boxes are centered around that theme. For only $12/month, it's really quite the deal!

Let's get started:

☆Another jam packed box this month! TWO THUMBS UP! :)

☆Front of the product information card-this month's theme was the United Tastes of Summer-a perfect theme as this month we celebrated America's birthday

☆Back of the product information card. You get a sampling of 8 different products this month-EIGHT!

☆1st up: Chipotle Ketchup with Organic Agave Nectar by Montebello Kitchens-Hand-crafted in small batches from vine-ripened tomatoes, spiced with smoky chipotle

☆Organic Blue Corn "TorChia" Chips by Whale Tails-Stone ground organic blue corn infused with health and nutty Chia seeds

☆YummyEarth Lollipops-Organic and free of artificial anything, these lollies are bursting with juicy fruit flavor

☆Sweet Corn Crunch-Dried Snack by Sensible Foods-The crunchy texture of this GMO-free veggie snack will surprise and delight!

☆Milk Chocolate Hot Fudge Dessert Toppings by Sanders Candy-The recipe for this all-natural hot fudge is so delectable it has remained unchanged for over 100 years

☆Front of the insert

☆Sweet Orange and Citrus Sunburst Green Iced Tea by Mighty Leaf Tea-Brew Directions: Pour 32pz of boiling water over this silken pouch, and steep for 3 minutes. Remove the pouch, and add 32oz of cold water. Makes about 8 refreshing 8oz servings!

☆Organic Spring Jasmine Tea by Mighty Leaf Tea-Organic, whole green tea leaves meet floral jasmine in this smooth bodied tea

☆Patriotic Poppers: Sweetened with organic cane juice and brown rice syrup, enjoy Red Cherry, White Pina Colada, and Blue Mint

So there you have it!
That was everything inside my July Love With Food box! I've already torn into the box, everything but the ketchup, which I plan on doing tomorrow when my daddy makes his famous garlic parmesan fries! If you like sweet and savory, I'd HIGHLY recommend dipping your torchia chips (which were fabulously nutty and had a strong corn flavor in each bite) in the sanders hot chocolate sauce. It's delicious! It reminded me of chocolate covered pretzels, which are my absolutely favorite! Thanks again for such a great box! August is almost here meaning that we'll be receiving the August box soon, so look forward to that! :) I can't wait for the Fall weather to come, meaning we'll be getting some chocolate goodies inside soon! Also, I forgot to mention that I loved the 2oz jars of chocolate sauce and ketchup we received this month. You really do get a FULL and proper taste before deciding whether or not to buy the full product, which I love. And-that vanilla bean caramel from Fat Toad Farm in May's box + Sander's milk chocolate dessert topping = HEAVEN and I'm not kidding!

Thank you all for stopping by,
-Sandy
