Just a little update! I have SO many reviews, 16 to be exact, that I'm working on to get to you all. They're all just sitting in my "Draft" section waiting to be written-sometimes I wish I had a robot to type all of these up with me. Lately, I've sort of been going on an eating frenzy (which explains all the reviews), literally. At least 3-4 new places each week, which is usually a record for me, especially considering I'm a student and shouldn't eat out as much as I do. What can I say though? I blame the foodie in me, whoopsies! That's a justifiable excuse for me, especially considering I don't spend much on clothing since all of it goes towards eating good food, it evens out.
Anyways, I stumbled across this adorable little shop thanks to a LivingSocial deal I purchased earlier this year. For $10, you could get $20 worth of goods from Nothing Bundt Cakes, which as the name states perfectly, sells Nothing but Bundt Cakes. Before I begin, I just have to add that the name is SO cute and clever and I absolutely love the little twist to it. You can't say the name seriously without giggling and smiling.
Let's get started:
♫Ridiculously cute storefront-blue and brown are my favorite color combinations EVER
♫Each bundlet was $3.99. Because of the deal, I was able to purchase 5 bundlets and only had to pay an additional $0.56 or so I believe. Such a steal!! I chose Red Velvet, White Chocolate Blueberry (flavor of the month), Lemon, Pecan Praline and Marble. Before I begin, I should mention that the frosting used is the same for each bundlet. Sort of like a cream cheese-like frosting-a little too sweet for my taste, but nonetheless still very tasty.

♫So pretty!
FOOD (5/5): I LOVE BUNDTS! On a more serious note though, I'm in love with bundt cakes now. I used to not be a fan of them because angel food cakes sold at the grocery stores were in the same shape of a bundt cake. I hated angel food cake with a passion back then, so I always geared away from anything shaped like them. But not here, not now. Of the five flavors I purchased, I only sampled the red velvet, lemon and pecan praline. I gave the other two as gifts to a friend, so I didn't get to try those out. All three flavors were absolutely incredible! Each cake was moist, rich, and had its own unique flavor. How they managed get these cakes SO moist, I have no idea. Each bite made me want more and more, I was literally drooling by the end of it. The red velvet is your typical red velvet cake, but this one had chocolate chips inside, which gave it a unique texture since you don't see that often. The frosting balanced out the mellowness of the cake perfectly, and it wasn't overly sweet. Next was the pecan praline. Throughout the cake, there were pieces of pecan which gave that perfect little crunch as you took each bite. I just came back from a trip to New Orleans a few days ago, and these tasted spot on with the pralines you get there, but in a cake form. Lastly, was the lemon! OH MY GOODNESS! If I had known how ridiculously and insanely good this flavor was, I probably would've purchased the lemon flavor only. Wow-I don't know where to begin. The lemon was just so distinct and mouthwatering, sort of like my mom's infamous lemon pound cake. The lemon flavor is definitely there, and it's so rich and fragrant and literally melts in your mouth. Then you add that frosting and there's literally an explosion of flavor. While I could only take a few bites out of the other two flavors I sampled, I kept the lemon one for myself after realizing how amazing it tasted. Definitely my favorite flavor and highly recommended!!
SERVICE (5/5): The lady at the counter was super friendly, I believe her name was Trish or somewhere along the lines of that. She asked me how I heard of the store, to which I responded through LivingSocial, then proceeded to tell me about what they offer and this and that. The entire time, she had a huge smile on her face and was very inviting, especially to a first-time Bundt customer like myself. When I was deciding what to order, I asked for her recommendations on which flavors were the most popular, which she said were the chocolate chocolate, lemon, and red velvet. Since I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate cakes, I opted to try the other popular flavors. She packaged these babies up for me and I was out the door, easy peasy!
DECOR (5/5): LOVED the decor inside! Although there's no seating inside or outside, it's pretty much one of those stores where you purchase your bundt cakes or place/pick up an order. I know some people typically aren't a fan of those kinds of stores, but I don't mind, since I typically like to enjoy my desserts either driving home or when I'm at home anyways. But the store itself is a gorgeous set-up. As soon as you entire, you see a large refrigerated glass display with the 12+ flavors of bundlets on the bottom, the beautiful 8' and 10' inch bundt cakes, and bundtinis (baby bundt cakes) that they offer. In addition, there's tons of cute and colorful dessert products located throughout the store, and just little knick knacks everywhere. In addition, to the right of the store by the entrance, there's a HUGE (I mean...REALLY huge) picture menu of the various decorations you can choose for your personalized bundt cakes, which are great for any occasions (weddings, birthdays, holidays, and more). I already know what kind of cake I want for my next birthday! A lemon bundt cake with a sunflower adorning the top-please and thank you :)
Overall, I've absolutely fallen in LOVE with this store and their products. From the mouthwatering bundt cakes to the great service and the beautiful decor, they had me at Bundt! Never would I ever have thought that after being scarred by angel food cake from my childhood years that I would enjoy bundt cakes after that. Well, no longer am I in fear. I seriously can't wait to go back and try out more of their flavors, even if they are 40 miles away from me, it's worth the drive! If you think $3.99 is expensive for one of these bundt cakes, you're WRONG! Considering how "gourmet cupcakes" are around $3-4 these days, you're definitely getting your money's worth, especially considering how sometimes those cupcakes can be insanely sweet, bland, and dry, while these bundt cakes are the complete opposite: rich, moist and just heavenly. If you've ever had any of their bundt cakes, what's your favorite flavor?
